You’re Not Stuck. You’re Between Identities

There comes a point where nothing is obviously wrong.

You’re still working.
Still showing up.
Still doing what you’ve always done.

And yet… something feels off.

Not dramatically.
Not in a way you can explain easily.

Just enough to make you pause.

Most people call this being stuck.

But what if that’s not what this is?

You’re not stuck.

You’re between who you were…
and who you’re becoming.

And that space is uncomfortable.

Because the old identity doesn’t hold the same meaning anymore.
But the new one isn’t fully clear yet.

So you’re left in between.

Still functioning on the outside.
But questioning things on the inside.

This is where most people panic.

They rush to:

  • fix it

  • decide quickly

  • find clarity immediately

But clarity doesn’t come from urgency.

It comes from honesty.

What you’re experiencing is not confusion.

It’s the beginning of alignment.

You’re starting to notice:

  • what no longer fits

  • what you’ve outgrown

  • what you’ve been tolerating

And once you see that…
you can’t unsee it.

That’s why it feels uncomfortable.

Because part of you already knows:
something needs to change.

Not immediately.

Not dramatically.

But eventually.

So instead of asking:

👉 “Why am I stuck?”

Try asking:

👉 “What no longer feels true for me?”

That question shifts everything.

Because you don’t need all the answers right now.

You just need to start noticing what’s changing.

And trust that this in-between space…

is not where you stay.

It’s where something new begins to take shape.

If this resonates

This is a space I’ve explored deeply — both personally and through my work with professionals navigating transitions.

If you’re in this phase, take your time with it.

You’re not behind.
You’re not lost.

You’re in transition.
